It takes place every year in spring and every four years in September.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>A thousand very tactical miles along a route between France, England and Ireland<\/strong>, among inshore currents and tides and moderate wind conditions, to be navigated between three legendary points: the English Solent channel and the Irish lighthouses of Tuskar Rock and Fastnet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This year, the <em>Normandy Channel<\/em> started on Sunday, September 15, from the port of Ouistreham, just over 15 km from the city of Caen in Normandy.
