Les \u00e9l\u00e9ments \u00e0 prendre en compte sont nombreux, surtout pour une transatlantique qui se d\u00e9roule en novembre, comme la Route du Rhum.<\/p>\n<p>Vous trouverez ci-dessous un petit glossaire pour suivre l&rsquo;\u00e9v\u00e9nement en expert.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Route <\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>c\u2019est l\u2019itin\u00e9raire \u00e0 suivre. Il y a deux points fixes : le d\u00e9part et l&rsquo;arriv\u00e9e ; entre les deux, chaque marin choisit son propre itin\u00e9raire et une grande partie du r\u00e9sultat d\u00e9coule de ce choix. Cependant, la route la plus courte (celle avec le moins de milles \u00e0 parcourir) n&rsquo;est pas toujours la meilleure : l&rsquo;\u00e9l\u00e9ment central, en effet, est le vent avec sa force et sa direction pour faire avancer le bateau.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Perturbation<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>c\u2019est la condition m\u00e9t\u00e9orologique qui garantit souvent une plus grande force du vent. Cela peut sembler contre-intuitif, mais les navigateurs oc\u00e9aniques recherchent les perturbations pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment parce qu&rsquo;elles garantissent du vent et choisissent donc les routes les plus complexes afin d&rsquo;obtenir les meilleures performances du bateau.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Moteurs<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Les bateaux disposent de moteur pour \u00eatre maniables lors de l\u2019entr\u00e9e au port, en cas de d\u00e9m\u00e2tage et surtout pour utiliser les mat\u00e9riels \u00e9lectroniques du bord, comme les ordinateurs, le dessanilisateur, le GPS, le radar, etc. Mais le moteur est \u00ab&nbsp;plomb\u00e9&nbsp;\u00bb, avant les courses pour \u00e9viter que les concurrents ne puissent avancer au moteur, ils peuvent toujours l\u2019utiliser pour le mat\u00e9riel. &nbsp;(sous peine de disqualification).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Solidarit\u00e9<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>toutes les courses oc\u00e9aniques comportent une obligation de solidarit\u00e9 envers les autres concurrents. Si quelqu&rsquo;un a de s\u00e9rieux probl\u00e8mes, il doit \u00eatre secouru. Le marin qui est envoy\u00e9 pour secourir un compagnon aura un temps compens\u00e9 sur le classement au prorata du temps pass\u00e9 dans cette op\u00e9ration de sauvetage.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><strong>\u00c9veil et sommeil<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>comment les navigateurs solitaires g\u00e8rent-ils leur sommeil ? En mettant en place des quarts, c\u2019est-\u00e0-dire des temps de repos et des temps de navigation. Les temps de repos sont r\u00e9partis dans la journ\u00e9e, ils durent entre 20 minutes \u00e0 1h30 en moyenne (jusqu\u2019\u00e0 3h sur un Vend\u00e9e Globe). Le skipper peutse reposer lorsque le bateau est en s\u00e9curit\u00e9 et utilise alors le pilote automatique.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Cambuse<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>chaque marin a ses propres habitudes : certains ne vivent que d&rsquo;aliments lyophilis\u00e9s \u00e0 r\u00e9chauffer, d&rsquo;autres sont pass\u00e9s ma\u00eetres dans l&rsquo;utilisation de la cocotte-minute pour cuire rapidement les aliments disponibles en cuisine. Ici, les \u00e9coles de pens\u00e9e sont diff\u00e9rentes. Bien entendu, les navigateurs doivent \u00eatre pr\u00eats \u00e0 se d\u00e9brouiller avec des aliments pr\u00e9cuits : dans de tr\u00e8s mauvaises conditions m\u00e9t\u00e9orologiques, ils n&rsquo;ont pas la possibilit\u00e9 de se d\u00e9tacher de la navigation.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Manche<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>dans la Route du Rhum, l&rsquo;interpr\u00e9tation de la m\u00e9t\u00e9o et des courants de la Manche est le premier choix tactique important apr\u00e8s le d\u00e9part, tout comme le choix de la sortie vers l&rsquo;Atlantique.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><strong>A\u00e7ores<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>les \u00eeles des A\u00e7ores constituent un \u00ab&nbsp;obstacle&nbsp;\u00bb naturel pour les participants, qui doivent choisir de les laisser \u00e0 droite ou \u00e0 gauche. L&rsquo;itin\u00e9raire, dans ce cas, d\u00e9pend des conditions m\u00e9t\u00e9orologiques, car la zone des A\u00e7ores risque souvent d&rsquo;\u00eatre caract\u00e9ris\u00e9e par peu de vent et s&rsquo;av\u00e8re donc \u00eatre une zone tr\u00e8s lente.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Outils<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>dans la Classe40, le r\u00e8glement pr\u00e9voit l&rsquo;utilisation d&rsquo;instruments sp\u00e9cifiques. Ils servent essentiellement \u00e0 analyser la m\u00e9t\u00e9o \u00e0 l&rsquo;avance et \u00e0 d\u00e9finir les tactiques de course, \u00e0 conna\u00eetre sa propre route et celle des autres bateaux dans la zone et \u00e0 analyser les performances de son propre bateau et les syst\u00e8mes de contact radio.<\/p>\n<p><strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n<h4><strong>Saint Malo<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>c\u2019est la belle ville fran\u00e7aise d&rsquo;o\u00f9 partira la course le 6 novembre. D&rsquo;autres cat\u00e9gories de bateaux sont \u00e9galement en comp\u00e9tition dans cette \u00e9preuve.
