La phase entre la derni\u00e8re course de l\u2019ann\u00e9e&nbsp;2023 (la Transat Jacques Vabre) et la premi\u00e8re de l\u2019ann\u00e9e&nbsp;2024 (la Transat CIC) ne se r\u00e9sume pas \u00e0 une simple p\u00e9riode d\u2019inactivit\u00e9 pour le Class40&nbsp;<em>IBSA<\/em>. Elle est plut\u00f4t d\u00e9di\u00e9e <strong>\u00e0 la strat\u00e9gie, \u00e0 l\u2019ing\u00e9nierie et au travail sur le bateau<\/strong>. L\u2019objectif consiste \u00e0 pr\u00e9parer le bateau pour les deux courses transoc\u00e9aniques pr\u00e9vues en&nbsp;2024, n\u00e9cessitant ainsi une embarcation solide, stable et rapide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La Transat CIC promet une <strong>course oc\u00e9anique en solitaire caract\u00e9ris\u00e9e par une longue remont\u00e9e au pr\u00e8s avec un vent fort<\/strong>. Les <strong>syst\u00e8mes \u00e9nerg\u00e9tiques<\/strong> rev\u00eatent \u00e9galement une importance cruciale, assurant une alimentation \u00e9lectrique ininterrompue m\u00eame en l\u2019absence de soleil.
