Tr\u00e8s convoit\u00e9e par les marins, cette course oc\u00e9anique d\u00e9marre et se termine dans la ville de Caen, en Normandie (France).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cette course oc\u00e9anique, dont le signal d\u2019avertissement a \u00e9t\u00e9 donn\u00e9 le 15&nbsp;septembre \u00e0 13&nbsp;h&nbsp;10, constitue le dernier grand d\u00e9fi de la saison pour Alberto Bona. Le skipper se dit pr\u00eat \u00e0 affronter plus de 1&nbsp;000&nbsp;milles de parcours entre la France, l\u2019Angleterre et l\u2019Irlande.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le d\u00e9but de la comp\u00e9tition a \u00e9t\u00e9 marqu\u00e9 par des conditions m\u00e9t\u00e9orologiques inhabituelles pour la Manche, avec des vents d\u2019ouest tr\u00e8s faibles. Cela a rendu les premiers milles particuli\u00e8rement lents et difficiles, le d\u00e9sengagement au pr\u00e8s mettant imm\u00e9diatement \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9preuve l\u2019endurance et l\u2019habilet\u00e9 tactique des skippers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00c0 bord du Class40&nbsp;<em>IBSA<\/em>, Alberto Bona et Alberto Riva, r\u00e9unis pour la premi\u00e8re fois, ont franchi la ligne de d\u00e9part peu apr\u00e8s 13&nbsp;h&nbsp;10, pr\u00eats \u00e0 relever les d\u00e9fis d\u2019une course pleine de difficult\u00e9s techniques. L\u2019itin\u00e9raire passe par des points de navigation strat\u00e9giques et historiques tels que le Solent et les l\u00e9gendaires phares irlandais de Tuskar Rock et Fastnet. Les pi\u00e8ges ne manqueront pas&nbsp;: courants, mar\u00e9es et vents changeants mettront \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9preuve les \u00e9quipes qui devront trouver le bon \u00e9quilibre entre vitesse et tactique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le d\u00e9part lent n\u2019a pas emp\u00each\u00e9 l\u2019\u00e9quipage italien de gagner du terrain&nbsp;: apr\u00e8s le premier changement de voile, le Class40&nbsp;<em>IBSA<\/em> se trouvait en dixi\u00e8me position. Avec une l\u00e9g\u00e8re mont\u00e9e du vent, Alberto Bona et Alberto Riva ont r\u00e9ussi \u00e0 progresser dans les premi\u00e8res heures de la course, se hissant \u00e0 la sixi\u00e8me place. Ils se trouvent d\u00e9sormais \u00e0 seulement deux milles du leader de la flotte, <em>Sogestan Seafrigo<\/em>, skipp\u00e9 par Guillaume Pirouelle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dans l\u2019apr\u00e8s-midi, les skippers ont quitt\u00e9 les c\u00f4tes fran\u00e7aises et se sont dirig\u00e9s vers l\u2019\u00eele de Wight, traversant la Manche pendant la nuit. La flotte a ensuite affront\u00e9 le Solent aux premi\u00e8res lueurs du jour, dans des conditions de vent faible, un d\u00e9fi suppl\u00e9mentaire dans une zone notoirement complexe en raison de ses forts courants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019itin\u00e9raire pr\u00e9voit l\u2019arriv\u00e9e des bateaux \u00e0 Land\u2019s End mardi, pour ensuite se diriger vers Tuskar Rock.
