Born in 1967, Andrea Caracci is an aeronautical engineer with 42 years of experience in sailing and navigation, both inshore and offshore.
Caracci can cover all roles on board, from bow to helm. As a member of a crew, he participated in prestigious regattas such as the Sydney Hobart, the Rolex Fastnet Race, the Newport Bermuda, the Middle Sea Race, the RORC Caribbean 600, the RORC Transatlantic and many others, sailing on every type of boat.
As a solo navigator, he took part in the Minitransat four times, accumulating over 30,000 miles of solo sailing, 20,000 of which in the Atlantic Ocean.
